Who is responsible

During the test Kari is run by Niiduveis OÜ (registry code 17015388), Miku, Tõrve küla, Põltsamaa vald, 49013 Jõgeva maakond, Estonia. If Kari moves to its own company later, you are told before your data moves.

Questions about your data: [email protected].

What Kari keeps

Kari does not see your Smart-ID, Mobiil-ID, ID card or your login to Liisu or e-PRIA. The bookmark that brings your herd in runs in your own session.

Why

To run Kari for your farm: keep the records, prepare the files you submit to EPJ and PRIA, and show the analysis and suggestions built on your own records. Your feedback is used to improve Kari during the test. Nothing is sold, and nothing is used for advertising.

On what basis

What the website collects

When you write through the form on herdloop.com, we keep what you enter (name, e-mail, and if you give them, farm, country, number of cows, phone and message) to answer you, and delete it 12 months after our last contact unless you become a Kari user. The website sets no tracking cookies.

Who sees it

The people on your farm's account, as you invite them. The services that run Kari, only to run it:

The database is kept in Canada, which the European Commission recognises as giving adequate protection to personal data. For other providers outside the EU, the transfer rests on the safeguards in their data processing terms.

How long

As long as your farm uses Kari. In Kari, More → Your data, the owner downloads everything as one file, or deletes the farm with all its records. A deleted farm is gone from the app at once; backups age out within the provider's retention period.

Your rights

You can ask what is kept about you, have it corrected or deleted, take it with you, or object to its use. Write to the address above. You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee).
